Christopher L. Birkheimer is an
associate with the firm practicing general civil litigation.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Birkheimer served as an intelligence
analyst for the United States Navy, Tactical Air Control Squadron
Eleven from 1996 to 2000. Mr. Birkheimer graduated from
Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts in Government in 2004 and
earned his Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University, School of
Law in 2008.
Before joining Florio & Kenny, Mr.
Birkheimer was the law clerk to the Honorable Judge Francine A.
Schott, Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division in Essex
County during the 2008-2009 term. Additionally, while in law
school Mr. Birkheimer was a summer associate with a prominent
general civil litigation firm and a judicial intern for the United
States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
Mr. Birkheimer is a member of the
American Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar
Association, the Hudson County Bar Association, and the Essex County
Bar Association. He is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar,
the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and
the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
